Shubh Technical Research is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to guarantee compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Shubh Technical Research website is conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Accessibility Features Enabled

We have integrated several features to make our platform accessible to all users, including those utilizing screen readers or relying exclusively on keyboard navigation:

  • Skip to Main Content Link: A keyboard-accessible skip link is available at the top of every page, allowing users to jump directly to the main content area, bypassing global navigation links.
  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive menus, dropdown navigation lists, tabs, and form components are fully accessible via standard keyboard controls (such as the Tab and Enter keys).
  • Screen Reader Compatibility: Standard semantic HTML tags (headings, tables, lists, and regions), aria attributes, and descriptive alt texts on images/logos ensure clear screen reader announcements.
  • Contrast Compliance: Text color and background contrasts meet or exceed WCAG Level AA requirements (at least 4.5:1 ratio for standard text) to assist visually impaired or low-vision users.
  • Animation Play/Pause Controls: Any automatically playing or moving components, including the SEBI scrolling marquee banner and the typing text animations, are equipped with visible and accessible play/pause control buttons.
  • Accessible Form Validation: Our contact form provides live, real-time screen-reader announcement errors and aria-invalid attributes for invalid data inputs (such as phone numbers or email addresses), highlighting validation problems clearly.
  • Descriptive Hyperlinks: All raw URLs have been replaced with descriptive, anchored text that clarifies the destination and purpose of each link.
